Bonnie Mustoe-Whitehill
About Bonnie
Bonnie is a mixed-media artist and a graduate of Arts University Plymouth (2022). She creates tactile art and jewellery, and focuses her creative practice largely on casting techniques, working with various materials such as glass, metals and rubbers.
Bonnie uses natural forms as starting points within her work that she often forages when out exploring the landscape.
With her art, she creates tactile objects, often obtaining deceptive material qualities, which she encourages her audience to explore using their sense of touch.
With her jewellery, she develops a small portion of the tactile objects into wearable art and also makes everyday jewellery that is based around cast seeds.
Bonnie won the runner-up New Designer of the Year Award 2022 at the Business Design Centre, London, was visiting lecturer at Swansea College of Art UWTSD and has recently exhibited work at Aspex, Portsmouth and MAKE Southwest, Bovey Tracey.
